All drivers must be at least 25 years of age to rent a vehicle. Renters aged 21 to 24 may rent cars and SUVs of the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard as well as small Passenger Vans and Compact and Intermediate Cargo Vans. A daily surcharge of 19.99 EUR applies to renters between 21 and 24 years of age. Renters in the Canary Islands must be at least 22 years old and have held their license for at least two years.

How old do I have to be to drive a rental vehicle?
To drive our vehicles, you and all of your drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have held a full and valid driver's license for at least one year at the time of rental. The minimum age is 25 years for vehicle groups L (Luxury), M and O (Premium Van), N (Standard Size Van) and P (Minivan).
I am less than 25 years old; Do I need to pay a young driver surcharge?
If you or any of your drivers are under the age of 25 when you pick up the vehicle, you will each have to pay a young driver surcharge. The cost of this surcharge will depend on where you pick up the vehicle.
If you rent the vehicle for more than 10 days, we will only charge you for a maximum of 10 days and you will be covered for the duration of your rental, up to 28 days.
